What is the Michigan Brain Injury Provider Council?

The Michigan Brain Injury Provider Council’s purpose is to enhance the ability of its members to provide high quality, ethical rehabilitation, health care, and related services to people with a brain injury. This is accomplished through resource sharing and information exchange, professional development and education, promotion of beneficial legislation, advocacy for brain injury services, and support of the Brain Injury Association of Michigan.

Continuing Education & Conferences
We are committed to increasing members knowledge on emerging industry issues and providing cutting-edge educational opportunities. MBIPC co-sponsors the Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s Annual Conference and holds a monthly Learn Over Lunch series.

Public Policy
Members receive timely information on critical legislative and judicial issues impacting quality services. Join an influential group of public policy-minded member organizations on the Government Relations Committee (additional fee) to set the bi-annual legislative agenda & participate in special legislative activities.

Networking Opportunities
An exceptional synergy is created as members brainstorm current issues and share best practice strategies with an extensive network of experienced professionals who are experts in their field.

MBIPC members provide services to people who have sustained an acquired brain injury and their families throughout the state of Michigan. Members include organizations or individual professionals that provide direct products and services to people with brain injuries and/or their families, including but not limited to: hospitals, acute and post acute programs, case management agencies, outpatient clinics, home care agencies, private practioners, legal representatives, advocates and transportation providers.
